Meghan Banting Instant Film Project

Hi there! My name is Meghan. I am 30 years old, and I live in Ontario, Canada with my husband and 3 cats.

I’ve been completely sucked into the world of Polaroid for over a decade. I have bought, fixed, and even rehomed many Polaroid cameras over the years. I started off my love for Polaroid after being gifted a red Cool Cam 600 from my mom. Boy, did that ever ignite my interest! I was steadily and primarily collecting 600 box cameras, until my love for the SX-70 models and Now models took over. These days, I am usually found reskinning an SX-70 folding camera.

I have shot on many models including 600’s, i-type, and SX-70 folding and non-folding cameras. There’s something magical and nostalgic about not knowing how your image will turn out until it develops! As you can see, I absolutely love doing double exposure. If something catches my eye, I’m there!

Though I have owned many over the years, my absolute favourite Polaroid camera since 2018 has got to be the very unique Tasmanian Devil 600.
