Amber Lauder Instant Film Project

My name is Amber Lauder and I’m an experimental artist based in Pennsylvania. Inspired by both a passion for experimentation and a deep connection to nature, I create whimsical, one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect the beauty of the natural world with a touch of magic. I shoot Polaroid and I also experiment with alternative analog processes like cyanotypes, lumen prints and film soup. I recently launched the Aura Mail Club, my monthly snail mail print club. In January, I sent out my first envelopes for the Aura Mail Club, my monthly snail mail print club! I'd wanted to do something to connect more closely with my followers and supporters outside of social media for a while, and a print club seemed like a fun, accessible way to do so. Aura Mail Club members receive a signed 5x7" limited edition fine art print and a little note from me via snail mail every month.

Each month's fine art print and note is themed to the "aura" of that month. An aura is defined as "a distinctive quality or atmosphere that seems to surround someone or something". All prints are themed to the "aura" of that month. Whether that's color, subject or something else that aligns with the aura of that month, members are guaranteed to receive something super special and thematically appropriate. Members also receive a bonus print during their birthday month!

All prints are printed, packed, stamped and sent by me from my home in Pennsylvania to be delivered straight to member's mailboxes.

I'm having so much fun with the Aura Mail Club so far and I'm extremely grateful to everyone who has joined over the past couple of months.
